Q.Where can I confirm my registration?
- Participants who registered from overseas can confirm their registration details by logging into their My Page on JTB Sports Station.
Race-Related Questions
Q. Are parking spots available for runners participating in the Wheelchair Fun Run?
A. The committee will email Wheelchair Fun Run participants to confirm if they require a parking spot.
Q. Is the event officially recognized by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations(JAAF)?
A. This is not a Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) sanctioned event or a Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) sanctioned course.
Records will also not be official records of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF).
Q. What events will be conducted in the YOKOHAMA MARATHON 2025?
A. Full Marathon, Pair Relay, Bayshore Highway Run (approx. 21km), Minatomirai 7km Run, Fun Run (wheelchair, family, junior high school students)

Q.Is the Yokohama Marathon officially approved by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations?
- No, the Yokohama Marathon is not an official JAAF-approved race or course.
Therefore, race records will not be recognized by the JAAF.
Q.How are the starting blocks assigned?
- Starting blocks are assigned according to running ability based on the declared time.

Q.Will my race time be recorded? Isn’t starting in a later block a disadvantage?
- Race times for the Full Marathon, Pair Relay, Bayshore Highway Run, and Minatomirai 7km Run will be recorded using a timing chip. Timing begins when you cross the start line, and your net time will be recorded as your official race result.
Q.Can I change my starting block on the day of the race?
- Participants may start in their assigned block or in any block that starts later, but not in an earlier one. On race day, please proceed to the appropriate eligible starting block of your choice.
Q.I want to run with friends who are assigned to a different starting block. Where should we start?
- To start together, all group members must start from the block assigned to the latest runner.
Q.Can someone else run in my place if I’m unable to participate?
- No. The Yokohama Marathon does not permit substitute runners. Any individual found participating under another runner’s registration will be disqualified.

Q.Will there be a place to store my belongings during the Yokohama Marathon?
- Yes. A bag drop area will be available at Pacifico Yokohama.

Q.Will there be a place for me to change on the day of the Yokohama Marathon?
- Yes. Changing rooms will be available at Pacifico Yokohama.

Q.Can I change the size of my participation prize T-shirt?
- No, we are unable to accommodate size changes.
Q.I am unable to participate in the race, but can I still receive my participation prizes (medal and towel)?
- Medals and towels are reserved for participants who run in the race. Unfortunately, we cannot distribute them to those who do not take part.
Q.Will I receive a medal if I drop out of the race?
- Participants who do not finish the race will receive a medal, but without the ribbon.

Q. How can I volunteer?
A. Please visit the volunteers page on the Yokohama Marathon Official Website for application details and requirements.
※One of the application requirements is that you must be able to converse, read and write in Japanese without any problems.
Miscellaneous
Q.Will my registration fee be refunded if the Yokohama Marathon is canceled?
- In the event of cancellation due to natural disaster, severe weather, major public transportation disruptions, or any other unexpected and sudden circumstances, your registration fee (excluding the payment handling fee and refund commission) will be refunded.
In cases such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, or the spread of infectious diseases, the decision to issue a refund and the amount will be determined based on actual expenses incurred.
Please note that cancellations made after October are not eligible for a refund. Additionally, registrations made through the hometown tax donation program are non-refundable.
