- Challenge of Yokohama Marathon is a category to help citizens to acquire the habit to run and do sports by providing an opportunity to participate in Yokohama Marathon 2016 to the citizens who participate in the running activities such as a marathon event held in each ward.

- The purposes of charity are “the promotion of sports for the disabled” and “the supports for development of athletes and the next generation”. The recipient is Yokohama Rapport managed by Foundation for Yokohama Rehabilitation Services.
